Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii 11:53 PM, THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2007 Last Sunday, I woke up at 5:00AM, to go stand in front of Redmond Target, waiting for them to open. There were about 12 other people in front of me in the line. Around 7AM, the store manager walks over and hands us our numbered slips - #9! At 8AM, the store opens, and one by one we were let in! Everyone went in with one aim - get to the Electronics aile, pick up a Wii and get the hell home as soon as possible, to play it!!! And I was no exception!!! Icy roads 12:00 AM, MONDAY, JANUARY 15, 2007 Seattle has been battered with some weird weather lately. First we had the Wind Storm, then another and now, freezing temperatures. I haven't seen any like this in my 4 years stint here. Even Ashley, who's lived here her entire life, hasn't seen any like this... With temperatures below freezing and with some precipitation earlier this week, the roads have literally become ice-skating rinks. Abandoned cars litter along the roads - especially close to my house, which is on a tiny hill - and driving has become very dangerous!
