Sivaji 9:19 PM, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2007 This weekend, I finally got to watch Super Star's Sivaji in the movie theater. The last three times they screened the movie around Seattle, I wasn't able to go for some reason or the other. This time, they brought it back to the theaters as a 100th day special. I loved the movie and was blown away by the sheer scale and grandeur of the movie. The technical aspects stood out too - like music, cinematography, songs picturization, etc. I have no comments about the story - but hey it's Super Star's movie, so anything goes!!! On the sailboat 12:36 AM, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2007 One of the nice things about working with the team that I'm with is that it's a small team that bonds really well together. For instance, two weeks ago, Chris Anderson took us out on Lake Washington, on his posh motor boat. It was a lot of fun just going out on the lake all of a sudden on a work day. And last week, Clemens took us out on his 42' sail boat into the Puget Sound. This is the first time I've been on a sail boat and it was a great experience - I gotta admit there's something about a sail-boat on the calm waters that is so very peaceful and soothing. Apologies 11:38 PM, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2007 I apologize for the lack of new posts... I realize I should at the very least keep updating once a week. A lot of things have happened since my last post - both at work and in life - mostly good stuff :) Notables: I've moved to a new group within Microsoft, but working on the same technologies. I'm working on the same team as giants like Don Box, Chris Anderson, Chris Sells, Clemens Szyperski, etc. My mom visited me for 4 weeks and went back. I bought a new LCD TV I'm also currently working on a "tech" themed website to write technical blogs. I'm split about maintaining the same design or modifying it. What do you think?
