Adobe and Akamai downloader 7:47 PM, FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2008 I wanted to try out Adobe AfterEffects for a project and went to their site. And Adobe insists that I install an Akamai Downloader ActiveX control just to download their installer. Pretty lame! Luckily after some googling, I found the direct link.
